Can you help to end violence against women and girls?

Today is the start of 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence – an international campaign that encourages action to be taken to end violence against women and girls (VAWG).

It’s also International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women which marks the start of the campaign which runs until 10 December which is Human Rights Day.

Over the next 16 days a number of activities are taking place in North West London which everyone can take part in:

  • Stop the Silence on Violence: David Challen to speak at White Ribbon Day event – Tuesday 26 November, 10am–2pm @ Brent Civic Centre. More information here.
  • Harrow White Ribbon Day Domestic Abuse event – Wednesday 27 November, 1–3pm @ Harrow Civic Centre. More information here.
  • VAWG Partnership Conference: Perpetrators: Prevention, Protection & Prosecution – Tuesday 4 December, 9.30am–4.30pm @ Kensington Town Hall. More information here.
