Mark Easton has announced that he will be standing down as the Accountable Officer for the North West London Collaboration of Clinical Commissioning Groups in March 2020.

Dr Neville Purssell, Chair of Central London CCG, paid tribute to Mark and wished him well for the future.

Dr Purssell said:

“On behalf of the CCG Chairs, I want to thank Mark Easton for the insight, leadership and hard work he has brought to the role of chief officer (and before that, the STP).

He took on a very challenging role and has had to wrestle with huge financial challenges and the move towards integrated care systems and partnerships. The recommendation in the NHS Long Term Plan to merge CCGs has added further complexity and absorbed a huge amount of time and effort.

He has moved us forward in these trying times with good grace, composure and a strong focus on what we are here for: to make sure our patients get the possible care. His skills and experience will be much missed. We wish him the very best of luck in the future and thank him for all he has contributed to North West London.”
