New primary care clinical lead appointments in North West London ICS

Published on: 25th February 2022

As part of developing the ICS, we have recruited to new roles in primary care leadership. Following an extended period of recruitment, we are delighted to announce the appointment of director roles and the primary care clinical leads for the North West London ICS programmes.

Associate Medical Director Primary Care starting 1st April 2022
  • Genevieve Small
Director of Nursing, Primary care starting 1st April 2022
  • Vanessa Andreae
Borough Medical Directors starting 1st April 2022

These are the lead medical directors for the borough-based partnerships. Their roles are very different from the previous GP borough lead roles. At a north west London level, the borough medical directors will work to develop and deliver the primary care strategy and ensure the involvement of primary care at all levels. They will work closely with the borough professional leads who are yet to be recruited. At a borough level, together with the place-based partnership director, they will be accountable for the delivery of both north west London priorities and local borough priorities.
